Southend - St John the Baptist

St Johns was the first Parish Church of the town of Southend-on-Sea, built in 1842 by T.Hopper. The original neo-Norman simplicity of his design has since been messed up by gradual additions of aisles, chancel, chapels, vestries, transepts etc.
