This is a delightful church which is full of interesting history. The church, dedicated to St. Margaret, was established in the 13th century to replace an earlier manorial chapel attached to the Manor of Mareys (='Marsh') . Sadly it is in a poor state of repair and desperately needs funds. The building has sunk, so the pews slope downwards towards the north and south at quite an alarming angle
