Shalford - St Andrews

The church was originally built in the early 14th century and re-modelled and extended towards the end of the century. It was extensively restored during the nineteenth century, however there are many original features to be seen. Much of the glass in the east window is 14th century The nave, chancel and the north and south aisles all date from the first half of the 14th century and the west tower is even older: some features at the base suggest it dates from the twelfth century.
