A round clerestory window, formerly sexfoiled, now blocked, survives in the north wall of the nave. The nave was probably built before 1300. The crossing and transepts were built early in the 14th century, by which time the chancel had a north chapel. The nave was heightened around that time, and a lean-to building was added on the north side.
