Warley - Christ Church

Christ Church was built in 1853 as a district church, to serve the growing population at the north end of Great Warley parish. The original building consisted of nave and tower: the south aise was added in 1877 and the chancel, in 1891 on land given to the church by the East India Company. A gate was built to allow access to the church from the barracks parade grounds.
