Middleton - All Saints - Chancel Arch

The fine Norman arch has multiple layers of concentric zig-zags. The polygonal shafts have a rare triangular form of decoration, and the tops of the columns are joined to abaci which extend to both nave walls. There is an elegant 13th century triple-light window at the east end of the chancel.
