St Peter's is an interesting little church just south of the noisy A127. The earliest part of the church is the 15th century stone-built nave with traceried windows. Tudor brickwork, shored up with multiple buttresses, forms the chancel. At the west end, the red and black brick tower dates from 1718. It is in need of maintenance: not helped by allowing trees to flourish so close to the tower and the 500 year old timbered porch. Grade I listed.
