The nave is 12th century, and the chancel 14th or 15th century. The tower was added or re-built in the early 15th century, and repaired with red bricks two centuries later, when the buttresses were added.The south porch is 16th century. The weather vane is dated 1679.
There is a dug-out chest in the nave made from a piece of sycamore, which is 13th century.
