Mid 19th century private Roman Catholic chapel and mausoleum of the Petre Family, in woodlands south west of Thorndon Hall, by W.W Wardell in Gothic Revival style. Grade II* Having become redundant and subject to decay and deterioration, the chapel was given to the Historic Chapels Trust by Lord Petre in 2010, and was restored in 2014.
