This 16th century wall painting shows St Christopher crossing a stream. St Christopher is turning his head to look at the Christ Child sitting on his right shoulder. Fish swim about his feet and an eel appeares to be winding around one ankle. There is a small figure painted on the left bank: an early depiction of an angler. The painting was re-discovered in 1870 having been covered up, to protect it during the reformation.
