The church is beautifully located beside some woods and overlooking farmland. Originally 14th century, it was extensively restored in 1873. The restoration included the complete rebuilding and lengthening of the chancel. The chancel arch, nave roof and north porch are 14th century and the bell turret and spire are probably 15th century.
