Mainly 14th century, with a Norman tower. The church is Grade I listed and built of rubble and flint, with stone dressing, with re-used Roman bricks. The building dates from the early 12th century with the west tower and north-west angle of the nave surviving, whilst the south aisle and part of the arcade are late 12th century. The majority of the church’s architecture including the chancel, north aisle, north vestry and south porch are 14th and 15th century. It underwent restoration works in the 19th and 20th centuries.
