Ashen - St Augustine of Canterbury

The nave is 13th century of flint rubble, the chancel is a Victorian addition, built 1857. The tower is dated around 1400, to which was added an octagonal Tudor brick stair turret. The original south door survives with iron work from the 13th century. Grade I listed.
